Herts Computer Services was set up by Iain Murray to supply straight forward IT support to everyone according to their needs; individuals, consultants working from home and small to medium sized businesses.

Having completed my degree in Business Economics at university my first job was in derivatives’ sales, working for a company that had revolutionised online trading. It was from here that I gained an interest in IT. I moved from finance to a role in IT support at Surrey County council. On relocating to Hertfordshire I started Herts Computer Services.
During my time running Herts Computer Services I have been lucky enough to form and maintain good relations with another IT company in the area. Over a number of years I have provided IT support to their clients as well as mine. This enabled me to gain a wealth of experience and knowledge with a broad range of hardware and software particularly in the installation and maintenance of Microsoft Small Business Server software and associated networks and domains.
To confirm my knowledge I studied for and passed the Microsoft small business server 2008 exam which has provided me with the Microsoft Certified Technology specialist accreditation as well as the ability to display the small business specialist logo. This is in addition to the Comptia A+ IT Technician accreditation that I achieved some time ago.
I am constantly studying the ever changing world of IT to build my knowledge so that I can provide the best service for my clients.
