Based in the county town of Hertford, Ashcroft Cameron Book Keeping looks after the needs of the small to medium sized businesses. Offering a book keeping service tailor made to individual requirements.

Herts Computer Services have supported Ashcroft Cameron since 2004.
Ashcroft Cameron is run by Julie Claydon and her staff. The currently run 4 desktop machines and during the time of our support there have been a lot of changes! This includes multiple desktop upgrades/ installations. Upgrades throught years from Windows XP to Windows 7 to now is Windows 10.
In the last few years we have managed the installation of a new server to host Sage Accounts which is the main application utilised by Ashcroft Cameron. We also manage upgrades to new editions of Sage.
To compliment the new server we use a Synology NAS to provide a backup of all the desktops and the server. This is then backed up to the cloud utilising Synology’s C2 backup soulution which is affordable and automated to make easy to use.
We have also upgraded the email services from a hosted IMAP/POP email to Microsoft Office 365 email. This provides a robust professional email solution. The main benefit for Ashcroft Cameron for this has been synchronising email between devices, email is backed up to the cloud and out off office replies.
To ensure files such as excel spreadsheets, Word documents and PDFs are avaialble on all devices and are backed up we have setup a cloud file storage system.
Both this cloud file storage and Office 365 email has allowed for easy remote working.
