To make things easy, I charge a flat rate of £40 an hour.

[su_service title=”Remote Support” icon=”icon: phone” icon_color=”#3679ea”]We still charge the same amount for our time but only require a minimum of 30 minutes and we then again charge in 15 minute increments after this. Many issues can now be resolved over the phone. [/su_service]

Availability

These are services and support on offer to you, my clients so that I can best meet your IT needs.

The business operates with myself, Iain Murray, as a sole trader and I undertake appointments on an ad-hoc basis. Whilst I am at an appointment – which can generally range from a few hours to a whole day – I’m afraid I am unable to respond to calls and emails immediately. A few key points to note:

  • My telephone number 07787 157937 will be contactable during the hours of 9am to 6pm from Monday to Friday and I will endeavour to assist you as soon as I possibly can, but I cannot guarantee my response time.

  • A telephone answer service is always available or you can email me at iain@hertscomputerservices.com, any messages or emails received outside of my working hours will be responded to at the soonest available opportunity during the next working day.

  • I am more than happy to provide remote phone/email support, but again this will have to be done on an appointment basis or you should not expect an immediate response.

  • I can utilise Zoho assist for remote assistance to securely take over your PC, this may be a more time efficient way of solving an issue.
